Albert Goldthorpe Shield 2012

A crowd of 1142 were in attendance to witness the inaugural Albert Goldthorpe Shield game which finished Hunslet Hawks 38 Hunslet Amateur All Stars 6. The try scorers for Hawks were Nathanial, Brickwood, March (2),Helliwell, Kain and Ratcliffe with Dobek kicking 5 goals. For the All Stars McLelland converted his own try.

After the game player of the match trophies were presented by Geoff Gunney and Colin Cooper to David March and Caldon Bravo and the Albert Goldthorpe Shield was presented by Stephen McGrail great grandson of Albert Goldthorpe.
